Tabletop Toolkit

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 18, 2026

Short version: Tabletop Toolkit does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything you create in the app — saved games, custom word lists, spinner configurations, dice history, and settings — stays on your device. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party.

Who this policy applies to

This privacy policy applies to Tabletop Toolkit, an iOS application published on the Apple App Store. The app is developed and maintained by Ambuj Sharma ("we," "us," or "our" in this policy). When we say "the app," we mean Tabletop Toolkit and any updates to it.

What information the app collects

The app does not collect personal information. Specifically:

What information stays on your device

The app stores information you create while using it, entirely on your device. This includes:

This information is stored locally on your iPhone using standard iOS storage (SwiftData and UserDefaults). It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. If you delete the app, this information is removed with it.

Data you may create involving other people

Some features of the app allow you to enter names, labels, or notes — for example, player names in the score pad, or labels for a spinner. These entries stay on your device. Because they never reach us, we have no way to see, retrieve, or share them.

You are responsible for the content you enter. If you enter someone else's name into the app, that information stays on your device and does not become part of anything we hold.

Children

The app is designed to be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages, including children. Because the app does not collect any personal information at all, it does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) — or from anyone else. The app also does not display targeted advertising or direct users to third-party websites during normal use.

Third-party services

The app does not integrate with third-party analytics providers, advertising networks, or marketing tools. If you purchase the Pro unlock (once available), that transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store, and Apple's own privacy policy applies to that transaction. We do not receive your payment information — we only receive confirmation from Apple that a purchase was made.

How your data leaves the app

Because the app stores your data on your device only, the ways it can leave your device are limited to actions you take yourself. These include:

Your rights

Because we do not hold any personal information about you, there is no data to access, correct, download, or delete from our records — we have no records. You control all information the app stores about you directly on your device. You can review it in the app or remove it by deleting the app.

If applicable law (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the European Union's GDPR) grants you rights over personal data held by us, those rights apply to information we actually hold. Because we do not collect or hold personal information about users of Tabletop Toolkit, there is no data on our side to exercise those rights against. If you believe we hold information about you, you can contact us at the address below and we will respond promptly.

Security

Because the app does not transmit or store your data anywhere off your device, we do not maintain servers or databases containing your information. Your device's own security features — your passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and iOS's app sandboxing — protect your local app data. We recommend keeping your iOS device updated for the best security.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this policy — for example, if a future version of the app adds a new feature that requires different data handling — we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will describe them in the app's release notes on the App Store. Continued use of the app after such a change means you accept the updated policy.

Contact

If you have questions about this privacy policy or about how the app handles data, please get in touch.
